Dressed
in their regulation white shirts and black dress trousers or skirt and
working with pace and efficiency, they recently provided the catering
service at VIP lounges for Spotless Services.
Many weeks of diligent practice paid off magnificently for the PBRS students at Wellington’s NZ Bartenders Guild Competition.
Of
the 40 entries, eight were from PBRS Wellington. They shook, rattled
and poured to win themselves a first, second, third and fourth place in
the Flair competition, to enthusiastic applause.
When you are dealing with the volume of talented, creative and professional hospitality staff that PBRS coordinate daily, having a designated Placement Consultant becomes essential.
Rebecca Phillips, HR Manager for PBRS says taking on newly appointed Richard Doolan was a very smart move and will enable PBRS to deliver effective student employment outcomes.

The 16th National New Zealand Bartenders Guild Cocktail competition took place at Bar Bodega in the heart of Wellingtons busy hospitality scene on the 29th May.
The Professional Bar and Restaurant School and Beam Global are again offering the Beam Global Diploma Scholarship for 2011.
