Do you have a background in hospitality?
I had no experience in hospitality when I started with The Professional Bar and Restaurant School.
What made you decide to study at PBRS?
I wanted a career in the hospitality industry when I was looking for a course to study on The Professional Bar and Restaurant School had everything I was looking for. I enrolled on the National Certificate in Hospitality (Operations Supervision) Level 4 in January 2010. When I had completed the course I decided to progress my education so I could become a manager, I enrolled on the Diploma course and have loved every minute of it.
What do you like about studying at PBRS?
It’s been a great experience from the start, its hands on, practical and you have support every step of the way. The tutors make it a great environment to learn in and I have made some great friends in my classes. It’s great to know that every day you learn something new and that you are gaining the skill and knowledge to get the job you want.
What has been a highlight for you at PBRS?
My personal highlight would have to be graduation from the National Certificate in Hospitality (Operations Supervision) Level 4, my family were really proud of me. Completing the License Controller Qualification was also another highlight for me, knowing that I have another qualification that will help me on my path to becoming a manager is great. It’s been a great experience from the start, its hands on, practical and you have support every step of the way.
