What students say about PBRS

I had no idea that learning could be this much fun! Two months ago I was sitting at home and doing nothing, but I did know that I wanted a good job that would give me a bright future. I had a friend who did the PBRS course and they really loved it, so enrolled on the PBRS hospitality management course. In the time that I have been here I have learnt so much, the tutors are really cool and I have made heaps of new friends.

I am really excited that I now have some direction in my life and while I'm studying they have even found me some part-time work so I can make some extra money while I study. I love this course, studying at the PBRS is the best thing I've ever done!

My goal is to be an awesome bartender and travel the world! I have been studying at the PBRS four months and have really loved it. A real highlight for me is that one of my tutors is also the eighth best bartender in the world, learning the art of mixing drinks and cocktails from him is an amazing experience, and I just know that if I learn from the best, then I am also going to be the best.

I have already entered in my first cocktail competition and got third-place which is really exciting. So if you want an awesome course and a great new career I definitely recommend that you check out The Professional Bar and Restaurant School.

I wanted to get back into the workforce and start a new career that suited my lifestyle and worked around my kids. I have found everybody here at the PBRS to be really helpful and supportive, I have learnt so much in a short space of time and have really built up my confidence but now I feel I can do anything. There are so many great things about studying at the PBRS, from going on really interesting field trips, to meeting new people and expanding my group of friends or sense the of achievement I get from studying at such a great school, and my tutor has even found me a job which I can sit around my studies.

For me choosing to study at The Professional Bar and Restaurant School has been one of the best things I have ever done.

I love the hospitality industry and wanted to gain a recognised qualification. I knew that The Professional Bar and Restaurant School is an industry leader when it comes to education in the hospitality sector, I wanted to learn from the best.

What do you like about studying at PBRS?
It’s a great environment to learn in, the practical classroom is set up to industry standard so you feel like you are out in the real world learning. I’m currently working in the schools café as a supervisor as part of my course, I have a staff of four to look after and do everything a supervisor would in any other café. It’s the hands on environment and the support of the tutors that make every day so enjoyable.

What has been a highlight for you at PBRS?
Meeting new people and making new friends, hospitality is all about the people and the same is true of PBRS. The staff are friendly and supportive; classmates help each other out and work as a team. I know that the people I meet here will be friends long after graduation.
